Hide & Piston wasn’t born in a boardroom or a mass-production factory. It was born on the highway and built at a cluttered workbench covered in leather scraps, heavy-duty thread, and vintage tools.
My name is Chris, and I am the craftsman behind every single piece that leaves this shop.
The philosophy here is simple: build gear that tells a story, inspired by the freedom of the road. I don’t believe in fast fashion or disposable goods. I believe in items that carry weight, character, and an unmistakable rugged soul.
Premium Materials, No Compromises
Every fender bib, passport holder, and keychain is handmade right here in the UK, built one at a time. I don't take shortcuts.

• The Leather: I exclusively source premium, world-renowned Italian full-grain leather (like the legendary hides from Conceria Walpier). It’s tough, honest, and choice-cut to ensure your gear doesn't just last—it ages beautifully, developing a unique patina with every single mile you ride or travel.
  
• The Process: Every cut is done by hand. Every edge is carefully finished using traditional glass slickers and patience. Every stitch is placed with precision contrast thread to ensure maximum durability under the toughest conditions.
